Got the nutrition prescription? Check. Follow for 3, 7,10 days... then, those 5 martinis were flirting with me - fall off the plan, feel guilty, get back on. Repeat. Most of us need a little more than a diet plan.

To achieve a leaner body, stronger mind, more energy and better mood, we need to know not only what to eat, but how to apply it. Enter the Food Coach. We discuss what foods are right for you (some of you need more carbohydrates, more omega 3's and more antioxidants than others) and the thoughts and behaviors that lead to weight loss, a better mood, more energy and so forth. Instead of giving you a diet plan, we create your food road map - something you can apply while you are traveling, eating out, or stuck in Kansas City.

Our approach has three tiers:

1. Functional Medicine - identify your unique biochemistry. Read more
2. Nutrition - optimize your nutrition based on your biochemistry. Read more
3. Coaching - master healthy habits and thoughts. Read more

Within these tiers, we may work on:

* optimizing your detoxification pathways
* improving your digestion
* enhancing your energy levels
* decreasing oxidative stress
* regulating your hormones
* moderating your neurotransmitters
* limiting your exposure to environmental toxins

We'll provide you with an abundance of meal ideas, tips on eating out, nutrition tips for traveling, 5 min recipes, seasonal food ideas and answer any other nutrition questions you have.  References for nutrition books, cook books, cooking courses, web sites and scientific articles are also available.
